Website Templates

DoIT has created a framework for State of Illinois websites which deliver common components and design elements. There are three site templates; each template is fully responsive and packed with great features that have already passed security and accessibility compliance. These starter templates are the best and easiest way to build a new website for the three most common types of websites needed by state government.

These website templates are easy to use and customize, as they come supplied with default functionality geared toward each "use-case" and a drag and drop editor. Users can mix and match specific website elements to create the final look to fit their needs. Apart from the drag and drop functionality, most layouts offer users many extra features. Using special add-ons and widgets, users can enrich the initial functionality and create a perfect web resource for an agency’s specific need.
