Left Navigation Template

Description

The Left Navigation Template can be used when a navigation menu is important to display a list of parent, sibling, or child pages under a root path.

Authoring

Once you have selected to create a new page using the Left Navigation Template, you will see the page has the following components by default:

  • Global Header - Only editable from the experience fragment interface. Require special access.
  • Header - Only editable from the home page.
  • Breadcrumb - Embedded by default. Editable but does not require any modifications.
  • Spacer - Embedded by default. Editable but does not require any modifications.
  • Left Navigation - Embedded by default. Editable but does not require any modifications.
  • Container - Space to add any available components as you wish. Content can be arranged in a 12-column grid.
  • Footer - Only editable from the home page.
  • Global Footer - Only editable from the experience fragment interface. Require special access.

 

In addition to the actual page content, you can configure properties for the page. Select the page you created and click on the Properties option. In the Illinois tab, you will be able to:

  • Select the content type to be agency, service, FAQ if you are creating an agency, service or FAQ page respectively.
  • For other types of content, leave the selection as general.
