Events Calendar

Calendar is a component that displays a calendar within the page and may be configured to display events which match a particular agency's events or to show all events within the state.

Authoring

The Calendar component works by creating a calendar view to display the events which the author chooses. Please note you can only have one Calendar component per page.

Configuring the Properties tab

  • Type: Select between Global if the calendar is to show events across all agencies and sites or Agency for events specific to a single agency.
  • Events Root Page Path: Displays when Type is set to Global. Allows users to enter multiple Events paths. Enter "/content/soi" as a single root path to fetch all events across Illinois.gov at once.
  • Event Type Tag: Displays when Type is set to Agency. Grab events by their set Events Type tag. Event tags are located at /State of Illinois/ILGAgency/[Your agency's acronym]/Events Type, which is a tags folder storing all your agencies' events type tags.
  • Events Root Page Path: Displays when Type is set to Agency. Enter the root path where the agency event pages are stored.
