Executive Order Feed
Description
Executive Order Feed is a component that displays a collection of executive orders from the State of Illinois.
Authoring
The Executive Order Feed component is a great way to show a few executive orders on a home page or landing page. Alternatively, it can also be used as a list component to display a full list of executive orders.
Configuring the Properties tab
- Enter the folder in which all the executive orders reside. It should be /content/dam/soi/en/web/global/content-fragments/executive-orders.
- If needed, you can narrow down your list of executive orders by filtering by tags.
- Enable fetch all executive orders if you want to build a full list view.
- Or configure a set number of items to show.
- Configure the view more link and label if you are just showing a short feed. The link should go to a page that has the full list of executive orders.
- Enter the dynamic page path that displays an executive order when your users click on the HTML option. If your site doesn't have or need such dynamic page, you can direct your users to /content/soi/Illinois/en/government/executive-orders/executive-order, which is the path to the Illinois.gov dynamic page. Otherwise, link to your site's specific executive order dynamic page. See more instructions here.
