Video Feed
Description
Video Feed is a component designed to show a feed of videos.
Authoring
The Video Feed component can be used to fetch a list of videos from the AEM DAM. Videos are sorted by asset date, which is set in the video file's properties page.
*Note: Ensure that you follow the Naming Convention standards used for the filename.
Configuring the Video Feed Properties tab
- Video Root Path: Select the folder from which you want to pull the videos.
- Video Category Tags: Further filter your list by tags, as needed.
- [Mode] Dynamic (Related Videos): Used on Media pages to dynamically grab related videos and display them underneath in a horizontal feed.
- [Mode] Manual (Video Feed): Select this to have the Video Feed grab the videos from the Video Root Path field.
- Number of Items: Determine how many items to show in the feed. Only for Manual mode.
Adding Links to Individual Videos
- To add additional links to be displayed under the video on one of the video pages, you need to go to the video file's Properties page. Under the "Illinois" tab, you can add asset referencing.
