Text CTA

Description

The Text CTA component by design, gets the attention of the user and calls them to take action. The action can be in the form of navigating to another page, document, or anchored links.

Authoring

The Text CTA component is used for a call to action. You can use it to link to a page, internal or external, anchored link, or a document. Icons can be used with your Text CTA.

Configuring the Properties tab

  • Text: Enter the CTA label.
  • Enable the Text CTA to open in new tab as needed.
  • Select an icon for the Text CTA as needed.
  • Link: Provide a URL or file path to link your Text CTA to a page, an anchor, or a document.

Configuring the Accessibility tab

  • Enter an aria label for the Text CTA. This is useful if the text is not very descriptive.

Configuring the Styles

  • Adjust the color from dark (dark background and white text) to white (white background and dark text) as needed.
  • Adjust the alignment from left aligned to center aligned as needed.
  • All Caps text can be problematic for some screen readers. Select  "Mixed Case" in your styling whenever possible.
