17.1 - Jefferson Release

Release Date: September 12, 2024

The WCM Team is excited to announce our second “in-house” code release, codename “Jefferson,” will be released to Production at 6pm central on September 12!  While the release is packed full of accessibility fixes, we are excited about our new component for External Audio allowing for the playback of audio files hosted on the multimedia server and other URLs.  Additionally, several users requested a more noticeable size difference between the H3 and H6 fonts; it’s included in this release!

Known Issues

  • A known issue exists with the color picker within components. The normal color palette display in SOI components is four columns of swatches, evenly spaced. Something within Adobe’s Service Pack 6.5.20 release disrupts the display by adding the hex codes to each swatch. The resulting display is a 2 column color palette unevely spaced. Adobe is aware of the issue and informed us that the State of Illinois is not the only customer affected. Adobe plans to release a fix in Service Pack 6.5.22, scheduled to be out sometime in December 2024. Be aware this is a visual issue only. This issue has not proven to affect functionality of the color picker, so users may continue to use the components normally.
