Unpublishing a Page
*Remember: In AEM, no matter the object, (Pages, Assets, Content Fragments, Forms, etc) NEVER just delete something. ALWAYS Unpublish the item first, then Delete!
Check for References
Start by changing the content view to "References".
Hard select the page. Remove references to the page from all locations.
Unpublish the Page
Hard select one or more pages and click on "Manage Publication".
Select "Unpublish".
Click on "Include Children" if the child pages of the selected page should also be unpublished.
After the page is unpublished, the page can be deleted, if desired.
