Asset Properties

Asset properties are elements of the asset that include Title, Description, Type, Tags, and more. Some of these properties are commonly referred to as "Metadata."

There may be some variations in the properties shown depending on the type of asset you are working with, but for the most part they are the same.

Accessing Asset Properties

Within the Asset navigation interface locate the asset you will be working with and hard-select it. Then click on "Properties" in the ribbon at the top of the page.

Basic Asset Properties

Set a Title for each of your assets. The title can be used as the alternate text of an image. This will decrease the work required when adding an asset to a page, while keeping the asset accessible.

Asset Insights

Open Insights to view Usage and Performance Statistics for individual assets.

Asset References

Open "References" to view all of the site pages, along with those page URLs, where the asset is being used.

Save Changes to Asset Properties

Once you are finished updating the Asset Properties, click "Save & Close" in the upper right-hand corner of the window.

You must publish the asset again, to make any changes visible to the public audience.
